| 4-16-2005 ...He is very playfull and doing quite well. He is a beautiful dog. He is getting very big and growing quick. The last time he went to the vet, which was about 3 weeks ago, he was 32 lbs. We figure he will be about 45 to 50 lbs when he sees the vet on Monday. Everyone cannot believe that he is so big for being only 3 1/2 months old! |
| 4-17-2005 ...He is about 50 lbs and 20" to the shoulder now. He is growing very well. the other day I had him up at a friends house and he ran around the house and the neighbor thought he was a wolf. Soon I will be starting to see if he will work out for a search and rescue dog. Excellent temperment! People comment about him all the time. |
| 6-23-2005 I am sending you some pictures of Buck. He is doing very well. He is up to 84 pounds and over 25 inches tall. His demeanor is outstanding. People that meet him think he is a very pretty dog. We are always asked what type of dog he is. We tell them german shepherd and they tell us they have never seen a pure black one before. |
| 10-3-2005 Hi, Well, my wife and I moved out to South Dakota with our two dogs. Buck is still growning very nicely. He is now a little over 110 pds. He is 27 1/2 inches at the shoulders. He is still very active and thinks everything and everyone is a play toy. He likes to wrestle with people. People cannot believe that he is only nine months old, for his size. The vet is very impressed with the size and strength as well as his good demeanor. We now live on a large ranch and he has plenty of room to run and play. He likes to play with other animals. He is starting to bark (deep loud bark) alot. In the middle of the night he will hear something outside and bark, it will stop your heart because it is so loud. He is a very loving dog. I sent some pictures to show you how well he has grown and how happy he is!!!! Will update again soon! |
